ROSE
The nature of the conscious experience
of love is a puzzle for people around the world. Many of us want to understand
our love in order to make it more sustainable. This ROSE application
aims to help individuals in this very difficult task.
ROSE is a self-evaluation of many dimensions
of our love. In ROSE, different love dimensions are described by few
statements (indicators) that an individual can relate to and evaluate.
You can evaluate these statements according to your own perceived current
reality and your own vision for your future. When individuals and couples
visualize their love they have a basis to make their love relationship
more sustainable. Possible problems in our current reality can
be seen
in different light than earlier. Possible future problems can be seen
and analyzed in a proactive manner.
In ROSE, love is analyzed according to
eight dimensions, including six different love styles (Hendrick & Hendrick,
2003), which are: Eros (intense, passionate love), Ludus (love played
as a game), Storge (love based in friendship), Pragma (pragmatic love),
Mania (love characterized by emotional ups and downs) and Agape (spiritual
love). Two additional dimensions are basic characteristics in
humans: self-esteem and self-control (Vanharanta, 2003).

An outcome of ROSE evaluation are different
dimensions of love presented visually using 16 fuzzy hearts, and in optional
numerical format. The size of each
heart describes the perceived level in each love dimension. The ROSE
report shows two hearts for each dimension: one represents your perceived
current reality and the other one your desired future vision of love.
Rose application runs on Evolute platform.
